Hammerschlagen Log Stump for German nail game, hammer striking, Oktoberfast beer

The Humble Origins of Hammerschlagen - German Nail Game

Hammerschlagen, which literally translates to “hammer striking,” has roots that trace back to old German beer halls and taverns. It’s a traditional game that requires minimal equipment but delivers maximum fun.  Players take turns trying to hammer a nail into a stump of wood using a small hammer, aiming to be the first to drive their nail flush with the surface.

Our softwood log stumps are perfect for this game and very popular with Garden parties,  weddings and German  Oktoberfast, approx size 13"-15" diameter x 15" tall (depending on size of tree and weight to post)
